Merging was founded in 1990 in Chexbres Switzerland by Claude Cellier and has become a world’s leading manufacturer of high-end audio equipment and software solutions for broadcast and studios. In corporation with Phillips, Merging Technologies was behind the development of the DXD format that allowed mastering of the SACD format and the development of Pyramix Virtual Studio which was one of the first DAW’s that enabled audio professionals to consistently work in high sample rates. Merging was also in the lead when developing Audio over IP and introducing its first Ravenna interface "The Horus", a real state of the art converter and popular tool in broadcast and studios. AES/EBU, MADI, Ravenna/AES67 and the Avid interface format can easily be converted and interconnected by Horus. Merging’s latest innovation of Anubis, a monitor controller and soundcard – and a true masterpiece taking sound engineering to new levels by enabling sound professionals to have converters and preamps in very small formats while being able to control large format monitor systems like Dolby Atmos or customized 22.2 systems. Anubis is fully compatible with multiple input streams from “the entire” network and to top it all off – it sounds awesome!
