MOUNTING A DPA 4060 OR 4061 LAVALIER MICROPHONE HAS JUST BECOME MUCH EASIER.

The Lav Concealer for DPA 4060 is a soft pliable mount that covers many different mounting options, moulding itself to the surface it is attached to. Because of its rubber material, it also acts as a shock mount, protecting the mic capsule from vibration and absorbing friction noise to give you clearer sound recordings.

This Lav Concealer fits the entire DPA 4060 range (4060, 4061, 4062, 4063) snugly and, along with the ease of mounting, protects the mic from a build up of glue which results from repeatedly attaching tape directly to the capsule. We have made a special Lav Concealer Tape especially for it. The LC Tape is strong, hypoallergenic and easy to apply, for mounting on fabric or skin without worry.

CREATES SPACE:

Keeps material away from the DPA 4060 OR 4061 capsule in tight spaces under or in clothing, protecting the mic from friction noise and vibrations.

SHOCK ABSORBING:

Moulded rubber compound made for excellent vibration and friction absorption, while the metal clothing clip and fabric guard prevent the transmission of vibration to the concealer.

COLOUR OPTIONS:

Available in Matt Black or Matt White finish. The matt finish is non-reflective for discrete hiding.

CUSTOMISABLE CLIP:

The removable and movable wire clothing clip allows you to mount in many different ways, from the front, back and top or bottom of The Lav concealer.

WIRE FABRIC GUARD:

The removable wire fabric guard keeps fabric from touching the capsule. The combination of wire and rubber materials acts as excellent friction absorption, cutting any transmission of friction to the mic capsule.

The Lav Concealer is made from 100% natural rubber which is biodegradable and kind to the environment.

The natural rubber used in manufacturing The Lav Concealer is biodegradable, which the environment will thank you for. In terms of clarity, using a soft, pliable rubber means it absorbs more vibrations than harder counterparts, preventing unnecessary noise from ever reaching the capsule. The Lav Concealer includes a clothing clip and a fabric guard, made of sprung metal. Having two different materials operating in unison also helps prevent friction or vibrations from being transferred from one to the other, and eventually to the capsule.

MOUNTING SUGGESTIONS

With clothing clip:

• On the inside button seam of a shirt, above the button
• On a bra with clothing clip reversed in front end of the concealer
• On a Polo shirt on the inside button seam With The LAV Concealer Tape:
• Underneath a jacket, coat or blazer breast panel, fixed to the jacket
• Directly to the skin on the chest underneath a t-shirt or shirt
• In a tie knot, with or without the tape (option to cut off the concealer wings for a smaller package).
